Project 1: Responsive LEDs (Due 2/22)

In this project, please create a responsive piece of conceptual art using the following components:

• 2+ LEDs
• 1 or more RGB LEDs
• 1 or more inputs (push switch, joystick, tilt ball switch)

The piece should explore a theme of your interest and must be interactive. You are encouraged to house your breadboard in whatever way you'd like to enhance the conceptual approach of your work. Consider creating shades for your LEDs using translucent materials.

Project 2: Motors (Due 3/22)

In this project, please create a responsive or interactive piece of conceptual art using the following components:

• 1 DC Motor or Servo
• 1 Stepper Motor
• 1 Ultra sonic range finder or IR sensor

The piece should explore a theme of your interest and must be interactive OR responsive. You are encouraged to house your breadboard in whatever way you'd like to enhance the conceptual approach of your work. Consider creating mounts (duct tape, mounting strips) for your motors and using household objects (paper clips, glassware) if you choose to have your motors strike.

Project 3: Data Art (Due 3/22)

In this project, please create a piece of data-driven art using the EmotiBit example sketch. Ensure that your project does the following:

• Uses EmotiBit data
• Visualizes the data in Processing using color, shape, etc.
• Controls 2 forms of output (LED, Piezo, DC motor, Stepper Motor, Servo, etc.) of your choosing with Arduino
• Loops infinitely

The piece should explore a theme of your interest and must loop infinitely. You are encouraged to house your breadboard in whatever way you'd like to enhance the conceptual approach of your work. Consider creating mounts (duct tape, mounting strips) for your motors and using household objects (paper clips, glassware) if you choose to have your motors strike.
